DGfS AG “Prosody in Focus” in Bochum was great!

From 28.02.-01.03.2024, my colleague Corinna Langer and myself hosted the Workshop “Prosody in Focus – Prominence Marking from Multiple Perspectives” in the frame of the 46. DGfS annual meeting in Bochum.

We had a great and very diverse workshop program, bringing together linguists from 10+ countries who gave high quality talks on prosodic prominence marking in the pragmatic domain of focus, including our invited speakers, Kriszta Szendröi (Wien University) and Stefan Baumann (Cologne University).

We are very thankful for all presenters and listeners of our workshop, to the DGfS for hosting us and for Goethe University for providing funding for the workshop.
